Heavy duty strapping, without the heavy tool
The GT-Xtreme puts up to 4,200N into 19mm high-tensile strap, enough for timber packs, steel bundles and heavy pallets heading out on a truck. It tensions at 9 metres a minute, then friction welds the joint so there are no metal seals to buy or stock.
Because it runs on battery, it goes wherever the load is. No compressor, no air lines across the yard and no pressure drop at the end of a long hose.

Balanced to strap comfortably on vertical and horizontal faces, from timber packs to steel bundles.
Conical gearbox
A bevel gear design passes more of the motor’s power into the strap, with less internal wear over thousands of high-tension cycles.
Brushless motor with encoder
The encoder monitors the motor as it works, so tension and welds stay consistent from the first strap of the shift to the last.
Balanced 4.0kg body
At 4.0kg including the battery, with the weight sitting over the handle, it’s comfortable on vertical straps and horizontal bundles alike.

GT-Xtreme FAQ
Should I choose the GT-Xtreme or the GT-One+?
The GT-One+ suits most warehouse and pallet work on 10 to 16mm strap at up to 2,750N. Choose the GT-Xtreme for heavier loads like timber, steel and heavy pallets, where you need 16 to 19mm high-tensile strap and up to 4,200N.
What strap does the GT-Xtreme take?
16 to 19mm high-tensile PET or heavy PP strap. For heavy loads, PET is usually the better choice because it holds tension well over time.
Can the GT-Xtreme strap round loads like pipe and coil?
Yes, as long as the load is at least 700mm in diameter. That covers most steel pipe bundles, coils and other cylindrical loads going out on flatbeds.
Why does tool weight matter on heavy strapping jobs?
Heavy strapping often means a lot of straps per shift, and a heavy tool wears operators out. At 4.0kg with the weight balanced over the handle, the GT-Xtreme is easier to work with all day, especially on horizontal straps.
