Electra STDC
Locks the joint with a notchless double crimp. Because it doesn’t cut notches into the strap, the joint keeps more of the strap’s strength.

Why switch from pneumatic to battery steel strapping tools?
Battery tools go wherever the load is, with no compressor to run and no air lines to drag across the yard. You also lose the pressure drops, oil and moisture problems and trip hazards that come with long hoses.
What strap does the SIAT Electra take?
The Electra system is built for 32mm high-tensile steel strap. The STT tensioner applies from 1,000N up to 12,000N, and the STDC sealer locks the joint with a notchless double crimp.
How many straps will the Electra do on one charge?
More than 200 straps per charge on the 36V lithium-ion battery. The exact number depends on your strap and tension setting.
What is a notchless double crimp seal?
Notched seals cut into the strap, and that cut can become a weak point under sudden load. A notchless double crimp grips the strap without cutting it, so the joint keeps more of the strap’s strength through transport.
